Steve meets London duo Moon Visionaries in 6 Music Unsigned, plus he wraps up Book Week by chatting to Rob Chapman about his Syd Barret biography Syd Barrett: A Very Irregular Head.

It's a busy programme for Friday, we'll have the usual Good Day Bad Day caller on the phone chatting about their musical history and picking two songs to play. Plus we'll set up another National Anthem and met another unsigned band in 6Music Unsigned. This week it's London duo Moon Visionaries who step up to the plate and take on the Lamacq Challenge.

Friday also sees the final selection in our special Book Week. We wrap things up by chatting with author Rob Chapman about his Syd Barret biography 'Syd Barrett: a Very Irregular Head'. We'll also be playing some of the music suggested this week as we asked about the music your Dad got you into. Expect a lot of Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon and Dire Straits. All this and an extraordinary mix of music to get the weekend started from the likes of The Cribs, Super Furry Animals and Stereolab.
