Penny Gore presents the cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic in Poulenc's Figure humaine. Plus Simon Rattle conducting Haydn's The Seasons, featuring soprano Christiane Oelze.

Today's programme featuring the Berlin Philharmonic begins with an arrangement of Poulenc's Figure humaine for 12 cellos. This is followed by a rare chance to hear Haydn's mighty oratorio The Seasons in a performance given by the orchestra under principal conductor Simon Rattle last year.
