You can get many more trees for your money if you decide to 'bare root plant', and there is still time to do so. Carole gives a master class in planting bare root native trees in our new wild area.
Jim also takes on a really thorny problem - the rose garden. It has also been virtually washed away and Don and team have had to put in a whole new drainage system for this wee garden. Jim begins the job of replenishing the beds and replanting.
One advantage of the long snowy winter is that the snowdrops are very late. George Anderson visits Colzium Walled Garden where they have over 100 varieties of snowdrop to delight in. The garden also boasts the largest collection of dwarf conifers in Scotland, interspersed with dwarf rhododendrons and Japanese maples.
Presented by Jim McColl, Carole Baxter, Lesley Watson and George Anderson.
