Trevor plays an hour of soulful music and his Album Of The Week is Love Wars by Womack & Womack (the husband and wife duo Cecil and Linda Womack).
Cecil Womack was a member of The Valentinos, a family singing group that included his brother Bobby and was mentored by Sam Cooke. Womack & Womack are steeped in the early 60s style of The Valentinos and Linda's father, Sam Cooke, but they have updated the style. This 1983 album is contemporary soul likely to appeal to fans of Cooke, Otis Redding, and others of the genre.
