Rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures' debut UK performance at 2009's Reading and Leeds festival, in what turned out to be one of the most talked-about sets of the weekend.
Them Crooked Vultures are what the phrase 'rock supergroup' was made for. The three main members are Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters/Nirvana) on drums, Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) on guitar and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) on bass. They made their UK debut as secret special guests at 2009's Reading and Leeds festival in what turned out to be one of the most talked-about sets of the weekend.
