Steve is joined in the studio by Arctic Monkeys, who talk about their new album Humbug and the impact their music has had on the musical world.

In 2005, Steve welcomed a bunch of Sheffield teenagers onto his show as his New Favourite Band. Called Arctic Monkeys, the band had been causing a bit of fuss on a new fangled website called Myspace.

Four years later, and on the verge of releasing their third album Humbug, Arctic Monkeys are back and join Steve today to talk about the extraordinary impact their music has hand on the musical world. Produced by Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age and James Ford, their new album promises to take the band into darker territory.
