Bruce Dickinson is joined by guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, who talks about his new supergroup Chickenfoot, which features members of Van Halen and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Legendary guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani will be our guest this week.
He's been nominated for 13 Grammy awards, sold over 7 million records worldwide and is regarded as being one of the most technically accomplished and widely respected guitarists of all time. As well as releasing his own albums, Joe has recorded and toured with the likes of Mick Jagger, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper and Spinal Tap. Not content with creating his own line of guitars he's also taught some of the greats of rock, including Kirk Hammett of Metallica and David Bryson of Counting Crows.
This Friday Joe joins us to talk about his new supergroup Chickenfoot where he features alongside ex Van Halen bassist, Michael Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith and ex-Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar.
Having just announced plans to perform at the Shepherds Bush Empire, he reveals all about how the group formed, the recording of their self titled debut album and how the four members found working together. Joe also tells us about the origins of their rather unique name!
