Aston Villa meet Everton in a match that will undoubtedly have implications in the battle for European places. Villa have had a great first half of the season but have fallen away somewhat since Christmas - and their home form has been particularly shaky. Villa took all three points at Goodison Park earlier this season with an injury-time winner in a dramatic 3-2 victory, but Everton have sharpened up since then and knocked Martin O'Neill's side out of the FA Cup in February.

In the day's other game, Fulham travel to Manchester City, which was the scene of a famous win for the Cottagers last season. Roy Hodgson's side came from 2-0 down to clinch victory with a last-minute goal from Diomansy Kamara. It proved vital as Fulham went on to win their last two matches of the season to preserve their Premier League survival on goal difference.
