Petroc Trelawny presents pianist Stephen Hough in Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, plus music by Faure, Franck and Copland, as well as Chopin's Piano Sonata No 3.
Petroc Trelawny presents a recital given at London's Royal Festival Hall by celebrated pianist Stephen Hough. Noted for his virtuosic yet thoughtful approach to performance, he combines works from different ages and continents.
Hough opens with his own take on Alfred Cortot's transcription of the Bach D minor Toccata and Fugue, which is followed by a selection of works by Faure, Franck and Copland, ending with Chopin's epic Sonata.
