Another chance to hear a programme recorded in 2008 with Jennifer Worth, who died last year. Her books based on her early life as a young midwife working among the poor of London's East End in the immediate postwar years became surprise best-sellers, and have just been adapted as a ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ1 TV series. Music was always an abiding passion for Jennifer, as she reveals to Michael Berkeley.
