How should we deal with paedophiles released from prison?

Graham Stewart takes your calls on Gary Glitter's arrival back in the UK, having served 27 months in a Vietnam jail for child abuse. Plus: Is it time to reappraise Mrs Thatcher's legacy?

Paedophile Gary Glitter arrives back in the UK this morning, having been deported from Vietnam were he served 27 months in jail for abusing two girls. His release follows warnings by child protection charities that the British government is turning a blind eye to the actions of child sex tourists. 成人快手 Secretary Jacqui Smith has responded to those criticisms by announcing plans to toughen up the law. She thinks Glitter shouldn't be allowed to leave the UK now that he's landed on British soil. Is she right, or should the onus be on the countries that still persist in hosting these sex tourists?

Plus: Is it time to reappraise Mrs Thatcher's legacy?

The First Minister is reported to have said he "didn't mind" so much the way Margaret Thatcher handled the economy in Scotland. The quote comes from an interview Alex Salmond gave to the editor of Total Politics magazine. Prime Minister Gordon Brown invited her for tea and Conservative leader David Cameron is a big fan, so is it time Scotland changed its view of the Iron Lady?
