Donald Macleod and Jeremy Summerly focus on Victoria's final work - a requiem dedicated to the memory of the Dowager Empress Maria at the Convento de las Descalzas Reales in Madrid. Victoria spent his final 24 years there - first in the Empress's services and, after her death in 1603, as convent organist.
