Proposals which could see drivers fined for wrongly parking in disabled bays will be formally introduced to the Scottish Parliament today. Labour MSP Jackie Baillie hopes her Member's Bill will benefit thousands of disabled blue badge holders. One survey suggests that up to 70 per cent of blue badges in use at any one time are being misused.

Tonight, East Lothian Council is running the first of five courses to make parents more vigilant about what their kids are getting up to when they log-on to the internet. At the same time Central Scotland Police have raided 182 youngsters who posted their anti-social activities on the net.
