Today's comprehensive schools are very different places from the highly streamed junior and senior secondaries of the 1950s. Although the end of selection caused controversy in England, it was welcomed in Scotland. Bill hears the memories of teachers working at the time and finds out why the comprehensive school is still central to education in Scotland.
