Episode 12
Jim checks on the fruit garden, Carolyn looks at obelisks in pots and George Anderson visits Clydebank to help with a problematic garden.
In the Beechgrove garden, Jim takes a look in the fruit garden, savouring a potential crop of red and blackcurrants and gooseberries, and also assesses how the wildflower turf is doing. Carolyn looks at containers ful of high rise summer colour with obelisks in pots.
George Anderson tackles this week's problem corner as he visits Sandra Mcbay from North Kilbowie, Clydebank. Sandra has been a keen gardener for 10 years, but there is one area of her garden that has her stuck. It's north facing, steep and had only a few sickly plants left from a previous occupant. George sets about improving the soil and creating a border that will cope with the conditions.
