Everything you always wanted to know about polyamorous relationships (but were afraid to ask)
8 February 2018
Polyamory: the practice of having at the same time.
Polyamory can often be misunderstood,as the polyamorous partners in Love Unlimited: Polyamory in Scotland have discovered.
“The reaction that floored me the most was, ‘So you like girls, boys and animals?’” revealed Dom, who attends a polyamory meet-up group in Dundee.
The misconceptions bother Ash who also attends the Dundee group. “If I could pick something that I’d really want people to understand about polyamory it’s that it’s not dangerous, deviant behaviour” she said.
“A polyamorous relationship can be just as normal and banal as any monogamous relationship. There’s just a lot more timetabling involved.”
