Massive steel horse heads aren’t a common sight on a daily commute — unless, of course, you use Scotland’s M8 motorway.

These horse heads were created by Scottish sculptor at Falkirk’s Helix Centre.

In order to increase people’s awareness of the 30m, 300 tonne Kelpies, – were sent on tour around the UK and even to New York’s Bryant Park as part of 2014’s Scotland Week.

Sculptor Scott – a 5m horse head – at the University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies.

³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Scotland’s Bright Spark series met Andy in his studio where he spoke about the processes involved in creating his sculptures.
