‘It’s trivialising feminism and road traffic accidents’

Euan Blockley stated his opposition to blanket speed reductions, instead preferring that the power to change speed limits should lie with local councillors and the community.

Mr Blockley also suggested that listeners to the radio show would be shouting at their radios, wondering “what on earth feminism has to do with road traffic”.

“It’s trivialising feminism and it’s trivialising the issue of road traffic [accidents].”
