How To:
Set Up Two-Factor Authentication on Facebook & Linked Accounts:
- Click on your profile picture in the top right, then click Settings and privacy.
- Click Settings.
- Click Accounts Centre, then click Password and security.
- Click Two-factor authentication, then click on the account that you'd like to update.
- Choose the security method that you want to add and follow the on-screen instructions.
When you set up two-factor authentication on Facebook, you'll be asked to choose one of three security methods:
- Login codes from a third-party authentication app.
- Selfie verification
- Tapping your security key on a compatible device.
- Text message (SMS) codes from your mobile phone.
Back Up Your Photos on Facebook & Linked Accounts:
- Switch to the profile that you want to download information from.
- Tap Menu in the bottom right of Facebook.
- Tap Settings and privacy, then tap Settings.
- Tap Accounts Centre, then tap Your information and permissions.
- Tap Download your information.
- Tap Download or transfer information.
- Select the profiles that you'd like to download information from.
- Tap Next.
- Select How much information you want to download and tap Next. Note: If you select Specific types of information, you will be able to choose which kinds of information you want to download, including data logs.
- Choose whether you want to download your information to a device or directly transfer your information to a destination, and tap Next.
- If you select Transfer to destination, you can choose the destination and schedule future transfers. Note: When you choose a destination, you may be prompted to sign in to the destination's app or website.
- Once you've selected the destination and frequency, tap Start transfer. You will be prompted to enter your Facebook profile password.
- If you select Download to device, choose your file options:
- Tap Submit request.
