Following popular demand, the film has now been made into a DVD. Copies will be available at a cost of £10 including postage and packing and £5 from the sale will go straight to Children in Need to help change the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children right here in the UK. ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Head of Yorkshire, Helen Thomas, said: "We've had a tremendous response from our audience since playing the Symphony on local radio and on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Look North. It was a hugely challenging piece of work for everyone involved and many viewers and listeners have written to us asking for the Symphony to be for sale as it would make a lovely present for people this Christmas.
"We're pleased to now be able to offer it for sale – and to be able to raise money for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Children in Need in the process."
The Symphony was also the subject of a special documentary called Making A Symphony For Yorkshire which  was broadcast on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Four in September and will be included in the charity package.Â
°ä´Ç³¾±è´Ç²õ±ð°ùÌýBenjamin Till wrote the score for the symphony and tailored the four very different movements to the individual talents of the 200 musicians who were then filmed in 50 locations across Yorkshire with a finale on the streets of Sheffield.Â
Benjamin said: "This has been the most difficult, complicated, ambitious project that I have ever done – incredibly hard work but hugely rewarding. Yorkshire people have to be among the proudest people on the planet. It's been an enormous thrill and a great honour to be able to write a piece of music which brings so many Yorkshire-based musicians from so many different musical traditions together and I really hope I have done the county proud."
The winner of the lyrics competition was 98-year-old great grandmother Doreen Brigham from Harrogate.
Last year, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Children in Need raised over a record-breaking £39 million, which is hard at work making a real difference to some of the most disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.
The 2010 appeal is on the 19 November, and we need your help again! This year we are asking everyone to "show your spots, let's raise lots!" for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Children in Need. This could be as simple as baking spotty cupcakes or getting the boss to wear spots for the day!

For every penny you give us, a penny goes directly to projects helping disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK. We are able to make this promise because the charity uses its investment income and gift aid to cover all running costs.
