³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ World Service's multimedia service for the Spanish-speaking world, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Mundo, has launched an online partnership with El-Nacional.com, one of the leading sites in Venezuela.

The agreement, which comes into force today, means that the multimedia content from bbcmundo.com, including full-text items and videos, will be carried by El-Nacional.com. The website will also feature a dedicated ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ section.

Heather Maclean, Head of Business Development, Americas Region, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ World Service, says: "Venezuela is the fifth largest single-country provider of traffic to bbcmundo.com. Thanks to this new partnership, our online content in text and video becomes directly available to users of El Nacional.

"We are delighted with this development, which will further expand our presence in Venezuela."
