Independent production company Somethin' Else has been awarded the contract to produce ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time after a competitive tender and will begin making the programme in August.
The contract for the popular Radio 4 strand became available after Trevor Taylor of Taylor Made Broadcast Ltd decided to hang up his headphones and retire.
Radio 4's Network Manager Denis Nowlan said: "Trevor successfully produced the programme for 15 years, developed it in many ways and hands it on to the new producers in very good shape."
Lucy Dichmont, who will produce the programme, said: "The team at Somethin' Else are delighted to have won the contract to produce Gardeners' Question Time.
"It's hugely exciting to be taking on a programme with such heritage and which is so important to the Radio 4 audience.
"We're looking forward to the challenge of keeping gardening listeners informed and entertained in the future."
