Pirates introduced to ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Electric Proms

Pete and the Pirates, General Fiasco, Chew Lips and Pull In Emergency are to play a ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Introducing night in Camden later this month as part of the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Electric Proms 2008.

³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Introducing at the Electric Proms takes place at Proud Galleries on Sunday 26 October – tickets went on sale at 9.00am today via the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Electric Proms site at bbc.co.uk/electricproms

The gig will also be broadcast on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 1 on Wednesday 29 October.

³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Electric Proms is a five-day festival, dedicated to creating new moments in music, that takes place in London and Liverpool from 22 to 26 October.

³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Introducing brings together the best unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar music, artists and DJs from across the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ.

Radio – there will be live and recorded broadcasts from all areas of the festival on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 1, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 2, 1Xtra, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ 6 Music, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Asian Network and ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Merseyside.

TV – highlights from this year's ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Electric Proms will be screened on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Two and ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Four with additional performances available to digital viewers via their red button interactive service.
