A new presenter for Wales@Work

Nick Servini is taking over the reins of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Wales's award-winning business and workplace programme Wales@Work when it returns for a new series on Tuesday 18 September 2007.

"Wales@Work is a fantastic programme and has been for a number of years," says Nick, who is also ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Wales's new business correspondent.

"It reflects all the latest developments in the Welsh economy in an interesting way with a great variety of guests and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to continue with that."

He will take over from Sarah Dickins who has presented the programme for six years, since it launched in 2001.

Nick, originally from Aberdare, has previously worked as a reporter both on Radio Wales's Good Morning Wales programme and on the main bulletins on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 4 and ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 5 Live in London.

Before joining the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ, he worked extensively in newspapers in both Wales and England. He started his newspaper career as a trainee at the Essex Chronicle in Chelmsford and after stints on the South Wales Echo and a Berkshire-based news agency he joined the launch team of the Welsh Mirror in Cardiff in 1999.

In January this year, Wales@Work was judged best regional business and workplace programme on television and radio in the UK by the Work Foundation, an award the programme also won the previous year.

The first programme in the new series begins with a special on devolution, marking ten years since the referendum.
