Forget Kate Moss dresses – here's Vanessa's bags
There's a new fashion icon on the block today – Vanessa Feltz! And although Vanessa wouldn't consider herself a size 0, her new brand is in great demand – the Vanessa Feltz bag.

Just 50 of the bags have been made as Vanessa explores the new craze for picking up cheap bags like the Anya Hindmarch designed "I am not a plastic bag" for Sainsburys, which are then sold on eBay for astonishing prices, and Vanessa is hot on the heels with her bag already up on eBay!

Vanessa, who gave away her bags to the first 50 people to turn up at the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ London 94.9 studios from 9am today, would also be trying to explain during her radio show what drives people to pick up such items with the help of a psychiatrist.

"It's a social experiment," says Vanessa, "but also an opportunity for our discerning listeners to get an exclusive bag."

³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ London 94.9 already had a thick pile of emails all begging for a bag before the launch and people queued outside the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ London headquarters from 1am to get their hands on one.

Even Vanessa's father had been trying to circumvent the queue by sending her a note during her programme yesterday asking her to keep one.

"I have two daughters – they like everyone else, will have to queue – there are no favours," says Vanessa. "We've even had to have a security guard sleeping on top of them for fear of them being purloined – demand is so great."
