成人快手 welcomes approval for new on-demand services

The 成人快手 Executive today welcomed the 成人快手 Trust's decision to approve new
on-demand services, subject to certain conditions, following a Public
Value Test.
听
Mark Thompson, the 成人快手's Director-General, said: "We are delighted with
the 成人快手 Trust's decision to approve our on-demand proposals.
听
"The first
Public Value Test has been an extremely rigorous and exhaustive process.
听
"This is a significant decision as the new on-demand proposals are at the
heart of the 成人快手's Creative Future.
听
"However, we disagree with the Trust's
decision to exclude classical music podcasts from the proposal: our
research suggests that classical music audiences would wish to download
classical music programmes from the 成人快手 and to listen to them on their terms, free at
the point of use."
听
Ashley Highfield, the 成人快手's Director of Future Media & Technology, said:
"'We are facing unprecedented rates of change in technology and audience
expectations.
听
"成人快手 iPlayer responds to a need for greater control and
flexibility over how and when audiences access 成人快手 content.
听
"It is a
critical part of the 成人快手's strategy to maintain impact and relevance in a
world where viewing and listening habits are shifting from linear to on-demand.
听
"In its initial release, 成人快手 iPlayer will make 成人快手 Television
programmes available for download, free for UK licence fee payers, at
high quality, with no advertising, for up to a week after transmission."
听
The proposed launch date for 成人快手 iPlayer will be announced in due course.
