Fresh new face for 成人快手 South East - Caroline Feraday joins Kent & Sussex's
award-winning news team
|
Former GMTV, 成人快手 Radio Five Live and LBC presenter and reporter Caroline Feraday took to the airwaves for first time today in her new role
as a reporter for 成人快手 South East Today.
听
And the 29-year-old has certainly started with a bang, interviewing Heather
Mills-McCartney for the regional evening news programme.
听
Although she has covered some of Hollywood's top red carpet events and hosted
an array of top radio shows, Caroline is really looking forward to delving
into life here in the South East and sees the move very much as coming home.
听
She is a former pupil at Rochester Grammar School for Girls and Caroline's family still
live in Kent.
听
After studying journalism at Mid Kent College she actually
kicked started her career on our very own 成人快手 Radio Kent before moving to
Capital Radio.
听
She even has a beach hut at Whitstable.
听
Speaking at 成人快手 South East's Tunbridge Wells studios as she took up her new
role Caroline said: "I am really excited to have the opportunity to cover news stories in an area
which is so close to my heart.
听
"I can't deny covering events like the Oscars
is a real experience but working with people who do extraordinary things in
their everyday lives is actually much more interesting. They are the ones with
stories to tell and that's what I enjoy covering.
听
"It is also good to be back among some familiar faces. It has been a few years
since I left 成人快手 Radio Kent as an enthusiastic but green reporter and now I
get to come back to a role that I had always dreamed of doing."
听
Not content with her broadcasting career, Caroline has also ventured
into print journalism and has been published in a number of glossy magazines
including Cosmopolitan.
听
And she still finds time to pursue a wide variety of
hobbies from scuba diving to the theatre to Watford Football Club. She
even holds a full motorcycle licence.
