成人快手 World Service brings listeners the drama and the tears from the world's most exciting football tournament, providing the news, analysis, results and the story behind the tournament.

With 30 reporters covering 33 languages, the World Service provides unique coverage, both internationally and in the UK.

Daily programmes

World Cup Have Your Say: 9 June-9 July, 9.00-9.30am

Throughout Germany 2006 World Cup Have Your Say will provide a forum for the views of football fans worldwide.

Everything World Cup related is up for discussion, from offside decisions to goal celebrations and dodgy haircuts.

The occasional big name will pop up to give us their spin on the games or to present the show.

News coverage

Join the teams of The World Today and Europe Today as they co-present the opening ceremony from Munich on Friday 9 June at 4.00pm.

Sports correspondent Harry Peart will bring the latest stories, while roving reporters Tom Hagler and Ros Atkins provide special reports from around the tournament, examining the fortunes of the newcomer teams.

Outlook

Throughout the World Cup, Outlook talks to World Cup footballers' wives about what life is like behind the glitz and glamour of the international game - Friday 9 June to Friday 7 July at 10.05am.
