The 成人快手 has announced that Aziz Rashid has been appointed as the new Head of the 成人快手's East Midlands Region, responsible for all local and regional output.
听
Aziz moves to his new job, based in Nottingham, from 成人快手 News in London, where he is currently Weekend Editor in charge of 成人快手
ONE bulletins and 成人快手 News 24 coverage.
听
Aziz joined the 成人快手 in 1989 as a trainee at 成人快手
World Service radio. After five years there he moved to 成人快手
World TV working on projects including co-ordinating the coverage for the 50th anniversary
of the Second World War, and working as Editor of the United States Election programmes
for 成人快手 World and 成人快手 News 24.

In 2001 he joined Breakfast News as
its Deputy Editor, and in 2004, after working as a Strand Editor
on 成人快手 News 24, he moved to his current job as Weekend Editor.

Of the appointment, Andy Griffee, Controller of 成人快手 English
Regions, says: "I'm delighted to welcome someone with a such strong track record
in different areas of news to the East Midlands as the region's new Head.
听
"Aziz
has a wealth of experience that he will be bringing with him and we all look
forward to working with him when he takes up his new role."

Aziz said: "I'm really excited by the prospect of leading regional programming in the East Midlands. There is a fantastic wealth of talent across this region working in radio, television and online.

A start date has still to be confirmed. Aziz takes over from Mike
Bettison, Managing Editor of 成人快手 Radio Nottingham, who has been acting Head of 成人快手 East Midlands.
