With comprehensive live coverage on 成人快手 ONE, 成人快手 Radio Five Live and bbc.co.uk/sport - as well as coverage in the North West on 成人快手 Radio Merseyside - the 成人快手 ensures not a moment from the 2006 John Smith's Grand National is missed.

The 成人快手's top team for the 159th running of the world's most famous steeplechase - on Saturday 8 April - is once again led on 成人快手 ONE by Sue Barker and Clare Balding, who will introduce top quality racing action from Aintree.

They will be joined by Richard Pitman, Peter Scudamore and Norman Williamson who will report and provide analysis from the paddock.

Rishi Persad and special guest John Parrott will be out and about reporting from around the course, and Angus Loughran will provide the latest betting and form news.

The 成人快手's expert commentary team is led by Jim McGrath, who is joined by Ian Bartlett, Tony O'Hehir and Darren Owen for the big race.

As host broadcaster, providing live coverage for broadcasters across the world, the 成人快手's 52 camera operation includes 'Rider-cams' on three jockeys, as well as cameras mounted on four of the fences.

Live 成人快手 television coverage from Aintree will also include five races each day on Thursday and Friday.

Saturday's Grand National Grandstand will include live coverage of four races and then build up to the main race that begins at 4.15pm.

On Friday evening (11.35pm, 成人快手 TWO), in A National Lottery: Winners and Losers, the countdown to the 159th running of the world's most famous steeplechase begins.

This special preview programme delves deeper into the history of the National to look at some of the great stories to come out of the race - from Bob Champion's emotional triumph on Aldaniti in 1981 to 100/1 outsider Foinavon's unlikely victory in 1967.

The programme also features interviews with some of the great jockeys who never laid claim to the biggest prize in steeplechasing - from John Francome and Peter Scudamore to Tony McCoy in the modern era.

Commentary on 11 races at the three-day meeting will be provided by Five Live.

Luke Harvey will be providing racing reports during the Breakfast programme at 6.55, 7.55 and 8.55sm.

There will be live commentaries in the afternoon of all three days of the meeting, while on the big day anchorman Mark Pougatch will oversee a Sport on Five programme where the team includes racing correspondent Cornelius Lysaght.

The Five Live commentary team is headed by John Hunt with Dougie Fraser, Gary O'Brien and Matthew Hill.

Throughout the meeting, Radio Merseyside (95.8FM) will be on hand with news and information.

bbc.co.uk/sport provides everything you need to know about the big event, from coverage times and latest odds to top tips and a guide to the National runners and riders.

For the big day visitors to the site can download the popular online office sweepstake kit.

You can also watch all the 成人快手 television coverage on bbc.co.uk/sport and UK residents can watch the race again as many times as they like on the 成人快手 Sport player.

bbc.co.uk/sport will also be following all the action with up-to-the-minute live race reports, results and photo galleries.

On bbc.co.uk/liverpool there is a 360-degree virtual tour of Aintree and trip around the course, plus latest travel news.
