River City fan Lorraine Kelly has been signed up to appear in an episode of the 成人快手 ONE Scotland soap, which will be screened in June.
听
The popular TV presenter will record her scenes in April, and is looking forward to filming on the set in Dumbarton.
听
Lorraine says: "I am beyond excitement at appearing in River City! I love the show and always watch it at home in Scotland and when I am working in London.
听
"It is so well written and acted and has fantastic dramatic storylines as well as a deft way with comedy.
听
"I am playing myself so it shouldn't be too much of an acting challenge and I know the cast and crew will help me."
听
Scripts are still being finalised at this stage, but it is known that Lorraine will appear as a friend of Moda Vida hair salon manager Billy Davis, played by Gray O'Brien.
听
Sandra MacIver, Executive Producer of River City, says: "We are thrilled to have Lorraine on board and look forward to seeing her in April for filming."

River City is shown on Tuesdays at 8.00pm and Fridays at 8.30pm on 成人快手 ONE Scotland.

Viewers outside Scotland can watch it on Sky Channel 947.
