Anna Ford has announced that she is to retire from newsreading after 27 years.

Anna's 成人快手 career began in 1976 with Man Alive; in 1977 she joined Tomorrow's World and from 1986 until 1988 she worked on Network.
听
She joined the 成人快手 ONE Six O'Clock News team in 1989.
听
Anna's television career began in 1974 when she worked on the newsdesk for Granada TV. In 1978 she joined ITN and in 1981 she worked for TV-am.
听
She has done freelance work for Channel 4, Thames TV, Central TV and Granada.
听
Anna became the presenter of 成人快手 ONE's One O'Clock News when it re-launched in May 1999, and will present her last bulletin in April 2006 - 30 years after she joined the 成人快手.
