Philippa Forrester is returning to the airwaves and launching her own Saturday morning programme, starting on 2 July from 10.00am to 1.00pm, on 成人快手 Radio Bristol.
听
Since rising to the challenge of temporarily filling the vacant 'hot seat' on the station's Morning Show Philippa has been eager to get back into radio presenting.
听
Philippa says: "Presenting the Morning Show on Radio Bristol was the first time I'd ever done live radio and I loved it!
听
"I guess I must have done something right as I've been offered the chance to have my very own slot every Saturday.
听
"Working the high tech controls is still a bit beyond me but I'm a fast learner and, frankly, having worked on Tomorrow's World for so long I don't really have an excuse about that sort of thing, do I?"
听
Philippa is best known for her television work having presented Tomorrow's World, Heaven and Earth, Crufts, Robot Wars and a whole host of other programmes.
听
She adds: "What I'm really looking forward to is the amazing closeness and immediate interaction the presenter gets with the public on radio.
听
"Once the calls, texts and emails start coming in I know I could be discussing almost any subject under the sun!"

Radio Bristol Managing Editor, Jenny Lacey, says: "It's marvellous to have Philippa back with us.
