The Fast Show's Simon Day is to take on a special
cameo role in EastEnders this Christmas.
Day follows in the footsteps of Little Britain's David Walliams who
appeared in last year's Christmas episodes.
Walliams played Alfie Moon's hapless friend Ray, who faked the role
of a registrar to marry Kat and Alfie.
Day, best known for his comedy roles in The Fast Show and 成人快手 THREE's
Grass, will be playing a cabbie booked to drive a well-known character
away from Walford forever on Christmas Day.
Day, a fan of the show, says of his new role: "I've done Celebrity
Stars In Their Eyes, Heartbeat and now EastEnders.
"Izzard, Gervais and Whitehouse - none of them can touch my CV."
