成人快手 Radio Five Live, the home of live news and sport, gives listeners
an all round guide to Wimbledon fortnight.
Throughout the tournament, Five Live will bring a mix of live commentary,
analysis, reports, interviews and features.
This year, Five Live has a number of exciting new additions. Former Wimbledon
champion Michael Stich, former Davis Cup Captain David
Lloyd and the former coach of Becker and Ivanisevic, Bob
Brett, will all be joining the team.
Simon Mayo joins Clare Balding to anchor
the coverage from SW19 for the second year running.
Simon will maintain the feel of his weekday show with big name guests,
phone-ins and news in between the live commentary whilst Clare will use
her sporting expertise to bring listeners the most comprehensive coverage.
Together they will bring the unique atmosphere of Wimbledon live to the
audience.
Five Live's digital sister station Five Live Sports Extra
will have extended coverage of the Championships.
The station will carry live additional commentary of matches daily right
through to the quarter finals, giving fans a choice of matches to listen
to.
Listeners can access the station through bbc.co.uk/fivelive, DAB digital
radio and digital television.
成人快手 Radio's tennis commentator Jonathan Overend will
head up Five Live's Wimbledon commentary team along with Iain
Carter, Nick Mullins and Tony Adamson.
They will be joined by summarisers and analysts Annabel Croft,
Christine Janes, Tracy Austin, Frew
McMillan, Mark Petchey, Wendy Turnbull,
John Lloyd, Debbie Jevans and Danny
Sapsford.
There will be a new voice - Quentin Hull, an ABC commentator
- and Phil Williams will be on hand for the light-hearted
stories.
There is also a new editor, Jonathan Wall.
Simon and Clare will anchor the coverage live from SW19 from noon every
day until 7.00pm from the time the very first ball is struck to the prize
giving on the final Sunday.
Five Live Sports Extra coverage will start at 12.55pm. Live match commentary
will come from centre court, courts one, two, three, 13 and 18, with reports
from all the other courts.
成人快手 Radio's huge operation at Wimbledon involves over 10,000 metres of
