Victoria Beckham talks music and marriage

Friday Night With Jonathan Ross - ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ ONE, Friday 19 December, 10.35 pm

Victoria Beckham discusses her plans for Christmas and beyond with Jonathan Ross on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ ONE, Friday 19 December.

After revealing that she'll be spending Christmas in London – "It's great in Spain but always nice to come home" - she is less forthcoming about what she's bought her husband – "What do you buy David Beckham? Everyone thinks that because we've been extravagant that's how it always is. He's very extravagant,
I'm more sensible."

She talks about her views on the press: "I like to be aware of what people are thinking, but I don't really read them. I think it's hurtful if it's inaccurate."

On her new musical partnership with Damon Dash, she says: "It's a completely different world, I found it completely fascinating … the studio was a s**thole, really rough, it was a real experience for me."

Speaking about her new video appearance, she says: "I didn't want to be vain about it, I just wanted to enjoy myself. That's what I'm really like. Everyone thinks I'm a miserable cow."

She adds she's looking forward to a bigger family: "Definitely. I'm not particularly keen on being pregnant. I want to have another couple of children."

And she will certainly be continuing her solo career: "I don't have to do it. I could sit at home and be a housewife. I don't see what's wrong with being a woman and having ambition. For a woman to want to do something I think is commendable."

Jonathan also welcomes to the show Johnny Vegas and Sir Ian McKellen with music from Gary Jules and The Ravenettes.
