Record-breaking figures yet again for Wales' 成人快手 radio stations

成人快手 Radio Cymru's share of total listening leapt to 4.6 per cent 聳 it has not been higher for more than two years.

Julie Barton, Editor, Radio Wales, said: "We have had great success in building the audience for Radio Wales over the last 12 to 18 months.

"For instance, presenters like Jamie Owen and Nicola Heywood-Thomas have seen their audience grow steadily quarter after quarter.

"What we are also seeing is that people like what they hear on Radio Wales and they are listening for longer and longer."

Aled Glynne, Editor, Radio Cymru, said: "Today's figures are very good news for Radio Cymru.

"We changed our schedule quite substantially last year and these figures are a sign that the listeners have become familiar with and welcome the changes.

"In particular, it's good to see Hywel a Nia doing so well with people enjoying the way the programme includes live broadcasts from different areas of Wales each morning."

With Radio 1, Radio 2 and Five Live all strengthening, 成人快手 radio stations now account for more than 60 per cent of all listening in Wales 聳 the highest figure for a number of years - while the share of listening to Wales' independent local radio stations fell.
