Radio Cambridgeshire increases in popularity with listeners
Independent
figures released today (31 July) reveal that 成人快手 Radio Cambridgeshire
has attracted an extra 21,000 listeners over the past year and that
people are tuning in for longer.
The
latest Radio Joint Audience Research (RAJAR) figures show that the
number of adults tuning in each week has increased from 114,000
in June 2002 to 135,000 in June 2003.
The
station also increased its share of all radio listening in the county
to 12.6%, up from 9.5% a year ago.
At
the same time, listeners like what they are hearing and are staying
tuned for longer - on average for almost 12 hours a week (11.9)
compared to just 10 and a half hours a year ago (10.5).

Radio Cambridgeshire Editor David Martin says: "I am delighted
that so many new people are tuning into Radio Cambridgeshire.
"Over
the past year, we have increased our coverage of areas like Peterborough,
Wisbech and Huntingdon and the 21,000 new listeners prove that being
more local is really paying off."
