³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Magazines brings Lonely Planet Magazine to Korea, making it the eighth international edition of the publication since its launch in the UK in 2008.

Lonely Planet Magazine Korea is published by Ahn Graphics, a publisher specialising in travel and design - and which also publishes Lonely Planet guidebooks in Korean.

The first issue of Lonely Planet Magazine Korea went on sale on 25 February 2011, with a 10,000 print run and a cover price of 7, 000 Korean won (approximately £3.85 GBP). The editor of the Korean version is Taewoo Hur.

Joanna Marshall, Head of Licensing & Syndication at ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Magazines, said, "We are delighted to be working with Ahn Graphics on such an exciting brand. Lonely Planet Magazine has been exceptionally well received around the world, and we are sure that the Korean readers will enjoy reading, and being inspired by, this truly international title."

Taewoo Hur, editor of Lonely Planet Magazine Korea says: "I'm so excited to be editing Lonely Planet Magazine Korea. More and more Korean travellers are seeking to explore new destinations and share their travel experiences, based on trusted information. I’m sure that Lonely Planet Magazine Korea will satisfy travellers and readers wonderfully."
