13.03.03 Wild
Australasia comes to Cannes
Get
ready to take a journey through time and space to reveal Australasia's
natural wonders and breathtaking wildlife as 成人快手 Worldwide, the
main commercial consumer arm of the 成人快手, brings the new natural
history documentary Wild Australasia to MipTV 2003 (24-28th March
2003). The six-part series has already been pre-sold to NRK in Norway,
WDR in Germany, France 3 in France and DR TV in Denmark.
Wild
Australasia is a contemporary exploration of Australia, its wildlife
and wilderness and its closest islands. From the tropical jungles
to the vast shallow coral reefs, and across the burning deserts
to the snowy mountains, this is a land of outstanding splendour
with a great variety of moods and landscapes.
Each
of the episodes delves into Australia's hidden secrets and explains
why its wildlife is so special. With an astonishing mix of the surprising,
the strange and the deadly, Australasia is home to an array of extraordinary
creatures - from the blue-ringed octopus that can poison with one
bite, to giant birds that can't fly and possums that can.
Produced
by Neil Nightingale (The Private Life of Plants), Wild Australasia
is a 成人快手/Animal Planet co-production.
