Me and Warren go way back. I'm shocked, man. Shocked. I mean we wasn't exactly mates, he was always lookin' at the wife, know what I'm sayin'? But this, man! Taken out in the area wiv a corner flag? That's gotta be a red card, innit?

I'm a professional, yeah, and you gets an instinct for the game when you're out in the field. When I was out in the park there was something moody about the play. Wozza was missin' shots he should've been sinkin' like they was pints of sambucca. Moody, I mean. Definitely moody.

After the game me and the missus went along to dis Rovers party. I mean, it weren't our turf and we was outta place 'cos we's the Sparrows and the enemy an' all, but it was a charity do, innit? Being a footballer like me, you've got to give summit back to the youth and that's what we were doing, right?

Anyways, we're doin' the charity bit when it all kicks off. That Delilah bird - there's somethin' unbalanced about her. I mean I've heard of fanatical, but she's downright mental. She gets feisty and chucks the claret all over Woz. Anyway, he gets the hump wiv her and they both goes stormin' out. She was well trollied, Delilah聟 Mullered. Drunk. And she gets right up his nose. Well, if you ask me, that's not the only thing that's up there. He's got a bit of a reputation for that, if you know what I mean. He goes off rantin' and ravin'. And my Steph she goes, "I fink I'd better check on Delilah." So then I'm on me own. That's fine by me. Dunno how long I was there wiv them Oxford board stiffs. But after a while, I'm... like, "I'm gonna see where my Steph is...". And I goes lookin' for her in the ladies.

Delilah's there and she's all outta it, man. I'm getting' concerned by the state she's in and she's grabbin' and gropin' me inside the area, ya know what I'm sayin'? Gross or what? She's older than me mum! Well, I'm a married man, right? And I don't have no taste for mutton neither, if you know what I mean. I was lookin' round for Steph, so I cleared right outta there, and then I sees her. There's Steph staggerin' outta da bog wiv Delilah, and there's people runnin' round and bangin' on that Wozza's been pronged on the pitch and that he's a dead man. And we go into Hackett's office and that's all I know, man. It was a shock. A SHOCK.
