name is Gemma Parker, I'm 23 and I'm studying Fine Art at
Oxford university.
Marilyn
was my best friend. I can't believe its happened. Not here.
Not Oxford. I miss her so very much it seems just such a terrible
waste.
Everyone knows she took Guy away from me, but I wasn't bitter
about that. We were still good friends. In fact I was happier
he went with someone like Marilyn instead of someone I can't
stand. Yes it hurt, it hurt a lot for a long time because
I loved him. I thought he was the one.
I'm afraid it is true that I tried to end it all seven months
ago, and I've got the scars to prove it. I don't come from
a wealthy background, so life here at Oxford is hard enough
for me as it is. I just reached a very low point and ended
up doing ghastly things just to make ends meet. I had a very
low opinion of myself at that time. Doctors have prescribed
these anti-depressants, they seem to be doing the trick.
Marilyn didn't have many enemies, but there was always tension
between her and Rebecca. They were two very different people
that literally hated each other but kind of relied on one
another. Marilyn had always bitched about Rebecca and in the
last couple of months she was livid whenever she talked about
her, but as far as murder goes, that's way beyond what I'd
expect dowdy little Rebecca to be capable of.
