She didn't win, but was the last woman standing. Adam Tomlinson caught up with her and found out how the programme had changed her life. Not many contestants on The X Factor give Simon Cowell a run for his money, but Rowetta certainly did! The bright, bubbly and rather loud Mancunian stole not only the heart of Simon, but the nation as well. She was the last female standing in the finals and Steve Brookstein went on to win. Simon made no secret of the fact Rowetta was his favourite, but she certainly gave him plenty of headaches and we all went on an extraordinary journey with her as she poured out her emotions. Rowetta, however had tasted fame before as a singer with 90s 'Madchester' bad boys, the Happy Mondays. It wasn't until 2004 and The X Factor however, that Rowetta hit 'the big time' and she spoke to 成人快手 Radio York's Adam Tomlinson about how the programme has changed her life.
