We know what you could do with it… ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio York's Kirsty-Lou Watson has set Dougie a challenge which should explain all... Kirsty-Lou Watson, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio York's CSV producer is very young and Dougie Weake is very old! Kirsty-Lou has challenged Dougie to take part in a photography competition. Dougie Weake. Dougie was brought up in the age of the 'Box Brownie' and Kirsty-Lou is a child of the digital era, but who can take the best pictures - you can decide. They both went out into the big wide world, armed with a digital camera, and they've taken lots of pictures, but who has done the best job - ancient Dougie, or youthful and beautiful Kirsty-Lou? Take a look at the pictures in the gallery and then cast your vote. Kirsty-Lou Watson. There is a good reason for all this though as Kirsty-Lou explains... "CSV and the 'V project' are teaming up to run intergenerational digital photography sessions. To bring generations together to share in learning through the creation of photographs and dialogue that represents the changing make-up of generations. "There will be three sessions and the first one will begin towards the end of February. By the end of the sessions we’re hoping that the volunteers will then have a good understanding of photography and the images will be displayed in an exhibition. "But first we’re asking people to help us by donating their old cameras to us as the project will need many of these for the volunteers to use as not every one will have their own. So when you get a shiny new camera in your Christmas stocking please keep us in mind when you’re wondering what to do with your old one." last updated: 11/12/2007 at 14:55 SEE ALSOYou are in: North Yorkshire > ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio York > CSV > The young v the old!
