Born 'n' Bred: York, I was born in the designer outlet… Gucci I reckon.

First memory:Ìý Getting a train set for my birthday. Setting me on the road to those slightly geeky tendencies.

First record bought:Ìý I think it was Hole In My Shoe by Neil from the Young Ones. Hmmm. I like to think my musical taste has matured somewhat since then, but it probably hasn’t.

First job:Ìý Stacking shelves in the local shop. Glamorous.

Favourite food and drink:Ìý How could I possibly pin it down to just one thing! Ok… um…. Pizza and red wine. Very sophisticated.

Favourite place in the world:Ìý The Loch Lomond area of Scotland.

Favourite place in North Yorkshire:Ìý Whitby.

Any pet hates:Ìý Inconsiderate people who always seem to put themselves first. Fortunately I don’t come across many people who fall into this category.

What would your desert island luxury be:ÌýÌý My laptop and a broadband internet connection. That way I can read and listen to pretty much anything.

Most embarrassing radio moment:Ìý Probably my first time presenting solo. I completely dried up at one point and couldn’t manage to read the weather. Hugely embarrassing but hardly the end of the world.

Best radio moment:Ìý The very first More Raw programme. To bring a show from an idea to a finished product is really rewarding.

Who would be your dream co-presenter:Ìý Chris Martin from Coldplay, no I reckon he’d be a bit miserable. Maybe someone a bit more off the wall like Wayne from the Flaming Lips.

If you weren’t a broadcaster what would you be:Ìý Most definitely a techy of some sort, maybe a live sound engineer.
