Hugo Duncan's Country Afternoon
Weekdays
1:30pm - 3:00pm
Hugo Duncan's listeners have once again risen to the challenge and and shown outstanding generosity by Donating almost 拢30,000 to this year's 成人快手 Children In Need Appeal - both in 成人快手 Radio Ulster's second 'Hugo-thon' and his superb concert in the Milbrook Lodge hotel.
Pudsey wants to say a huge THANK YOU to all our generous donors and to you the listeners who made this possible. Many, many thanks on behalf of Children in Need, Northern Ireland.
For five days, from Monday 10th - Friday, November 14th, Hugo called on his listeners to be as generous as ever in supporting an auction which last year raised over 拢21,000 for the 2007 Appeal.
Again this year the generosity of companies, both here in Northern Ireland and further afield, has been unbelievable! Once again we have a cement mixer - which last year raised 拢2,500 -听and other treats include a Country Music weekend in Blackpool, a luxury rail weekend in Dublin,a VIP package to the North West 200, a night at the Dogs - and lots, lots more!
This year's grand total was announced at the end of his Pudsey Party live from 成人快手 Northern Ireland's Studio One on 成人快手 Children In Need day -听Friday, November 14.
Hugo Duncan said:
"成人快手 Children In Need has been very close to my heart for many years and the whole team is really looking forward to our second Hugo-thon. Last year's total really surprised and delighted us and we are aiming even higher this time round!
I know that all of our listeners - at home and out on the roads - will be ringing in to pledge as much money as they can for such delights as a horse drawn carriage for your wedding day, a weekend in the Lake District, a chance to record your own hit single - or a romantic hotel getaway for two!
If you need a job done around the house what about bidding for your very own joiner for a day -听or if you're a DIY person -听dig deep for the Hugo-thon cement mixer! All this and with lots of good music along the way and for such a good cause, sure you won't want to miss it."
