Belfast may have the chance to review its bid to become a capital of culture under government plans just unveiled.听 Culture secretary Andy Burnham wants to create a UK version of the prestigious title that would allow cities to compete every four years to host a 12 month long arts programme.

Phil Redmond who was cultural director of Liverpool Capital of Culture has been asked to carry out a feasibility study into the idea for the first competition to be held in 2011. Phil Redmond spoke to Marie-Louise about what he feels has been the success of Liverpool 08.
