Eoghan Quigg's X-Factor dream ended when Alexandra Burke was crowned X-Factor winner. But Eoghan had picked up thousands of fans along the way. Teresa Craig watched his final X-Factor performances with some of those fans.

Thousands of people came to see Eoghan at a special concert at Guildhall Square in Derry. Among the throng was Radio Foyle's Teresa Craig.

Eoghan fell to his knees as he learned that he'd made it to the last four of X-Factor. It was the first time he'd been in the bottom two contenders. His father, Chris, told Sarah Brett how he'd felt going through that stress.

X factor judge Louis Walsh praised Eoghan's singing to the stars. But he didn't think much of his hairstyle. "My only critique tonight, Eoghan, is the hair - it is turning into a bird's nest. I suspect you're taking advice from Simon Cowell on hair," said Louis. But it's emerged that teenage boys across Northern Ireland are queueing up to get what's become known as the 'quiggy'. Bridgeen McCullough - Eoghan's hairdresser - spoke to Sarah Brett.
