John McAndrew
I'm the short fat baldy Englishman with a Yorkshire accent, and if that's not enough I also sing Beatles songs to myself. Yet another blow in.
I also write plays and letters to newspapers.

Terminal by John McAndrew
|
Footpaths of a lifetime converge
and ours, over time as one, finished here.
I must leave now
and you have left already.
Shadows of an evening congregate
and mourn the loss of one departing.
As implored and entreated a base body died, and the soul unencumbered is anguish free. Odd that I lived and departed; a base soul livid inside a body unencumbered and languish free.
Choices of a future converge and mine, bereft of you, begin here. I have left now and you are at home already. Crowds of a mourning dissipate, others cheer the triumph of one arriving.
