Bryony Page has won Team GB's first-ever trampoline Olympic gold medal.

The 33-year-old now has a full set of Olympic medals - after she won silver at Rio 2016 and bronze at the last Olympics in Tokyo.

Two-time world champion Page completed an amazing final routine packed full of difficult somersaults, bounces and twists to jump to the top of the leaderboard.

Results on Friday saw Great Britain move up to third in the medal table, with a total of nine gold medals.

When asked what it was like to now have the full set of Olympic medals, Page said "It sounds amazing."

"I had quite a difficult build-up, anticipating this competition for a long time."

She had been struggling with an ankle injury and said she "twitched" her neck during podium training on Thursday.

Page, who has said she dreams of joining the circus when she retires, entertained the crowd in Paris with a routine packed with a high level of difficulty, staying close to the centre of the trampoline to score high throughout her routine.

Gymnasts can reach up to eight to 10 metres in the air while on the trampoline - that's about the height of two double-decker buses.
